8 Best Hair Transplant Clinics in Thailand

Your donor hair is limited and your hairline is for life, so who you trust with it matters more than anything. These are the Thai hair transplant clinics I'd trust, and what each one does best.

  • Reviewed 12 October 2026

Losing your hair changes how you see yourself long before anyone else mentions it: the photos you avoid, the angle you check in every mirror, the hat that's become part of you. When you decide to do something about it, you're trusting someone with a hairline you'll wear for the rest of your life, built from a donor area that only has so many grafts to give. You deserve a team that treats both with that kind of care.

Thailand, and Bangkok above all, has hair surgeons who are Fellows of the ISHRS and leaders of the field in Asia, working alongside JCI-accredited hospitals that look after patients from all over the world. These are the best hair transplant clinics in Thailand in 2026: who does the work at each one, which techniques it offers, from FUE and DHI to FUT, how long you'll stay and how to get started before you book a flight.

How I rank hair transplant clinics in Thailand

I've spent over ten years coordinating international patients through Bangkok hospitals: visiting the clinics, sitting in on consultations, comparing treatment plans and seeing people through recovery. For hair transplants this list ranks on outside accreditation and the hospital or clinic around you, the doctors and their experience with hair restoration, the techniques and technology on offer, and how international patients are looked after from first message to flight home.

Every fact comes from each provider's own information, checked 12 October 2026, with sources on its profile. No provider pays to be listed or to move up.

How to plan a hair transplant in Thailand

  1. 1

Send clear photos for an assessment

Take sharp photos of your hairline, temples, crown and the back and sides of your head, in good light with your hair dry. Kamol, Yanhee and Masterpiece offer a free consultation or pre-assessment, and Yanhee comes back with an indicative graft count. Send every clinic the same photos and history, including any medication you take for hair loss, so the answers are easy to compare. Our consultation guide has the questions to ask.

  2. 2

    Plan your time in Thailand

Most people need only a few days. Kamol suggests about 3 to 5 days in Bangkok, and Yanhee at least 48 hours for shaven FUE, with about a week more comfortable. Allow time for a check-up and your first gentle wash before you fly, and longer for FUT if you'd like your stitches out before you leave.

  3. 3

    Know when you can fly

Most clinics are happy for you to fly once you've had your check-up and first wash, usually a few days after surgery. Wear a loose, soft hat for the journey, keep pressure off the grafts, and ask your clinic for its own aftercare rules in writing. Our recovery guide sets out the first weeks.

  4. 4

    Get the plan in writing

Before you pay or fly, get the technique, the number of grafts, who will do each part of the operation, and what aftercare is included confirmed in writing, with your doctor's name on it. Choosing a clinic explains why who operates matters so much.

  5. 5

    Arrange aftercare at home

Expect the transplanted hairs to shed in the first weeks, with new growth from about 3 to 4 months and most of the result by about 12 months. Find a local doctor who can see you if anything worries you, and talk to them about medical treatment to protect the hair you still have.

This page is information, not medical advice: the doctor who examines your scalp is the one to decide which technique, and how many grafts, suit you.
